About the event

Families Afloat – Intergenerational Fishing & Wellness

Connecting generations through the joy of being on the water

Join us for Families Afloat – Intergenerational Fishing & Wellness, a special day on the water where veterans and their family members can share quality time, laughter, and connection. This fully funded experience combines mindfulness, fishing, and family togetherness, all set against the peaceful backdrop of the Pumicestone Passage.

About the Day

This is more than just a fishing trip — it’s a chance to slow down and reconnect across generations. Together, we’ll drop a few crab pots, cast some lines, and enjoy the simple rhythm of the day while learning how being present in nature can bring calm and connection.

Whether you come with your son or daughter, a parent, partner, or grandchild, this day is about sharing stories, creating memories, and strengthening bonds that last well beyond the water.
